Career Navigator Academy runs cohort based career development programmes with one on one mentoring and placement support. I built and maintained the platform the operations team ran them on.

Cohorts were being coordinated with form tools, spreadsheets and email written from scratch each time. As they grew, the operations team found itself spending more of the week on coordination than on the programme. Pairing learners with mentors was the first thing to fall apart.

The whole cohort workflow ended up in one place, and the hours that had been going into keeping spreadsheets aligned went back into running the programme.
